Redesigned speakers and acoustic lenses

Thanks to improvements such as reduced voice coil mass, increased air flow and increased diaphragm stiffness, the 8 cm woofer now offers much better parameters. The woofer provides excellent mid- and high-frequency response and sound quality. The 2 cm dome tweeter, which can reproduce sound in the highest resolution, features a lighter silk diaphragm for beautiful sound. In addition, the acoustic lenses have been optimized for the new shape of the tweeter, making the sound expansiveness even better.

3 JENO engines

To faithfully reproduce rich sounds in a 3.1ch configuration, the speakers are equipped with three fully digital "JENO Engine" amplifiers. In addition to taking advantage of the processing capabilities of the three units and faithfully reproducing the left and right channels and the subwoofer, the speaker is equipped with the Space Tune system, which optimizes the sound quality depending on the installation condition.

The Sc-C70MK2 is equipped with the Space Tune™ Auto system, which allows you to obtain optimally balanced sound at the touch of a button. This function allows you to measure test sounds played through the SC-C70MK2's built-in microphone to analyze distances from walls. In a further stage, it allows you to automatically optimize the sound field. Additionally, Space Tune™ features 3 factory presets (Free, Near the Wall and Near the Corner), using the Technics Audio Center application to precisely adjust the sound quality to suit your surroundings.

With multiple speakers with Chromecast built-in, you can play different music streaming services in multiple rooms or play different music in different rooms*.

Additionally, if you use the Technics Audio Center app and have other Technics devices compatible with the app, you can also enjoy other music sources in multiple rooms, such as Bluetooth, AUX, optical input, USB, Internet radio, as well as OTTAVA™ compatible streaming music fSC-C70MK2.

In addition to CDs and radio stations, the new model supports Chromecast technology, providing support for a range of music streaming services. The device is also compatible with Spotify Connect, Amazon Music, Deezer and Internet radio. There is also support for AirPlay 2 and Wi-Fi Bluetooth, network playback, USB storage, and analog and optical input, allowing you to use various audio sources in one device. The user interface of our iOS/Android smartphone app, Technics Audio Center, has been redesigned to make it easier to use.

Favorites function

Up to 9 presets can be made on the main unit, such as your favorite internet radio stations, DEEZER playlist and songs from a USB drive. Thanks to this, you can listen to your favorite music without launching the application.
